When uploading large video files (~350mb) in this case, we are getting the following messages after the video has been uploaded and encoded. The video is correctly added to the UVG module, and can be accessed without issue after that, but the person who uploaded the video keeps getting the errors below:

Any assistance with tracking down what could be causing this issue would be greatly appreciated!

In Internet Explorer, we are getting the error: Cannot display the webpage.
In Firefox we are getting the error: Connection was reset.

Here is what we are running on:
Server 2008
DNN 5.2.3
IIS 7 with separate App Pools

In IIS, under the application pool's advanced settings, we have Idle Timeout set to 480 minutes and the recycling interval is set to 1440 minutes.

In IIS, under the application's session state settings, the session timeout has been set to 1440 minutes.

In the web.config file, under system.webServer, we have the following settings:
<security>
<requestFiltering>
<requestLimits maxAllowedContentLength="2147483648"/>
</requestFiltering>
</security>

The applicationHost.config file in the C:/Windows/System32/inetsrv/config folder has the requestFiltering "overrideModeDefault" attribute set to "Allow" as well.

In the web.config file under system.web we have the following settings:
<httpRuntime useFullyQualifiedRedirectUrl="true" maxRequestLength="2097151" requestLengthDiskThreshold="2097151" executionTimeout="61437" />

<authentication mode="Forms">
<form>s name=".DOTNETNUKE" protection="All" timeout="1440" cookieless="UseCookies" />
</authentication>

In the web.config file, under system.web/neatUpload we have the following settings:
maxRequestLength="2097051"
maxNormalRequestLength="2097151"

In the DNN Host > Host Settings page, under Advanced Settings > Proxy Settings we have:
Web Request Timeout="1200000"

As far as I can tell, there are no other settings that can be changed that would affect the uploads, yet every time a large file is uploaded, the errors are appearing. Does anyone have any idea what other settings we could check?

Thanks!

your configuration seems to be fine, I'm not exactly sure what the problem is.

are you using a dedicated server?

do you ALWAYS get this problem when upload a 350MB file? with what size of video will you NOT get problem with it?

It is on a privately owned server with several other instances of DNN and some other web apps running on it, each in their own app pools.

I always get this problem when uploading 350mb, and the largest I have tested that has worked was about an 80mb file.

Are there any other areas that I should be looking for in regards to the timeout?

I'm not sure, it seems your IIS recycles while upload.

maybe you can use UVG Converter to upload?
