Is it possible to customize the URL displayed for videos to shorten it?

I know DNN's structure is based on DesktopModules being where Modules live but

I would like to use a shorter URL or even a URL Shortener service like tiny url, etc or a homegrown one.

Maybe this can be accomplished using URL rewriting.

Example:

Instead of:

http://www.bizmodules.net/DesktopModules/UltraVideoGallery/uvg.swf?vId=129&portalId=0

I'd like:

http://www.bizmodules.net/uvg.swf?vId=129&portalId=0

or

http://www.MyShortHostName.com/123XZY

some customization is required to archive this. it's impossible in the public version of UVG.
