I have all the photo albums set up the same (UMG classic) so the EXIF info shows. The photos are exported at web size from Lightroom and show all the camera info. When importing into UMG sometimes it shows up and other times it doesn't. I've made sure all the album settings are the same so this info. shows up.

Why is it so sporadic? I do the "re-write" of the exif info. update etc. but it is not consistent. I've deleted photos and re-imported but the program seems to pick and choose which albums it reads the exif info on.

We have set up a temporary PW so you can access the albums. When we're done we can disable the temp. stuff.

Login: umg
PW test123

Please look at: Airplanes and Air Museums - Boeing Air Museum
Awesome Skies - Storms and Clouds June 14, 2009

Photos for both of these albums show the exif info when in either Lightroom or Bridge. When I click in the middle of the photo to bring up the exif info and larger photo I can drag that photo to my desk top and check it out in Bridge and all the exif info is there. Not sure why sometimes it isn't being read in UMG. I have the album settings to auto read exif info, do the "re-write" and update, but still no luck.

Once in awhile some photos won't show the exif data because they are older ones or they are a composite so I don't expect it. But the photos from last month sure should.

If I have a setting wrong, let me know because I'm so new at this and it sure could be "user error".

Thanks, Sue

I think I have finally answered my own ? Seems there was some corruption when reducing the size of the photos. I went back to the offending photos, re-did them and re-imported them into the UMG album and although the photos aren't as small kb wise, the EXIF info all shows on the photos that it should be on. There are some old photos that I know it won't show up.
