I want to lay out the video player to the left of the video list with a background image behind them both. Can this be done with UVG alone or should I use something like AJAXModuleWrapper?

Also, is there a way to layout the video list to be an automatic two-column layout where the videos are filled in left to right, top to bottom? For example:

Video 1       Video 2
Video 3       Video 4
Video 5

Also, Can I have a different image for each video in the list?

about the 1st problem, it can't be done.

you please UVG_VideoPlayer on the same page of UVG_VideoList, so when click a video the page refreshs and the selected video is being player.

however, before selecting any video, UVG default video will be played, you can change it if you like.

about the 2nd problem, javascript is necessary to do this job, similar to "MultiColumns" template in TopPhotos module in UMG.

thanks.
