Is there a setting to automatically resize the image to fit the screen. Kind of like the way the button at the bottom does. I would really like to have my images expanded when they are first shown.

in gallery settins you can find an option called " resize in run time", you can set it to "display the original photo", or "display the resized photo", or "resize in runtime".
Thanks.

Thanks for the quick response. I've tried all three settings and don't see any difference. Is there something else I have to set also. I really want the image resized like when I press the "Fit to Window" button.

are your pictures larger than the stage? if so, they are resized to fit to window and displayed if you set this option to "display the resized photo", or you can see the resizing effect if you set it to "resize in runtime".
