It is common for me to set up modules for Nuke sites where the users are not technical, so they just need to be able to edit things and don't have Administrator rights.  However, it looks like you need to give full access to the gallery admin features (like colors, etc) for them to be able to create albums.

I know you have an "owner" mode that allows users to create one gallery, but would it be possible to have an extra layer of permissions for users that can create multiple albums?

Also, I don't have any instances where the Moderation function would be needed, and it would confuse many of my users.  Is it possible to turn this off in the Module Settings and have photos auto-approved?

Yes, the Gallery Definition feature comes with Albums Definition.

The owner feature will only be available from the next version which will be released quickly. the owner of an album will get composing and moderation rights in the album but will not be able to create new albums if not extra granted.

Donot worry about the approve feature ,the "Approved" checkbox in checked automatically when you add a new photo. even you can hide it by editing the appropriate control in my module directly. the moderation link can't be disabled in currect situation. but I think it doesn't made sence.

If you worry about the albums definition issue, maybe I can do a bit of customization in my module so that only HOST can access the gallery definition page. this is a free service.

Thanks
