I am trying to build something that mimics the sets/collections/albums/images display as exemplified by the page at http://gallery.usgs.gov/. I would appreciate any tips that you can provide as to how I might begin to do this with UMG Professional. My interest is not so much in showing slideshows, as it is showing galleries of albums and images and letting the user choose which one to view. Also, I need to be able to use tags and also search in the image description and, perhaps, other metadata. Thanks.

To add a bit more description, I think that I could get quite a bit of what I want done using something like the UMG-FreeContentList. It has a nice vertical display of images. Now, how can I get the same nice vertical display of albums, and even nested albums? Is that possible?

maybe you should use the HighSlide presentation? this is a html presentation and I think what you intend to implement couldn't be done via a flash presentation.

I'm actually fairly happy with the UMG Professional display. I can use this in conjunction with the Rate module to get about 99% of what I want, so I'm trying to work with those to get to 100%. I would like to set up a custom template for the Rate module. I see that is a choice in the module settings, but I'm not sure where it is in the UMG directory structure. Can you provide a hint or two? Thanks.

In \DesktopModules\UltraMediaGallery\Texts folder, create a new folder, then copy AboutPhoto*.txt to this folder, make changes and then it will be available for selection.

you can customize the look of the upper section only. e.g. the video information.
