I've got the Personal Gallery Mode working fine for users on our site but the pictures don't seem to get moved to my Amazon S3 account unless it's pictures I personally upload from my admin account.

Does the Personal Gallery Mode work with Amazon S3 for your sites visitors?

UMG transfer photos created by all users, even in personal gallery mode.

about your problem what's your batch quantity? and what's your domain?

Pengsten,

This seems to be working now but what does the batch quality affect?

batch quantity means how many photos to be transfered each time.

Pengsten,

OK...got all this working fine but am having problems viewing the pictures from an Ubuntu workstation in FireFox or Google Chrome when using Amazon S3. I can view them from any other computer and can view them from the Ubuntu computer if I only upload them to the website.

The pictures in my bucket are set to public...any ideas?

Oh..one other thing I've noticed...I delete a picture when in the Manage gallery mode and it does not delete...I deleted the file using my AWS Management Console and the thumbnail still shows up and the picture is blank in the gallery. If I click on the "edit" picture button and then select delete it will delete the picture.

Pengsten,

Just checking back in..have not heard back yet and was wondering if you've heard of anyone else having problems with Amazon S3? I double checked to ensure all the pictures/folders in my S3 bucket were public...

BTW...not sure if this makes any difference but the computer we are having problems seeing pictures stored using Amazon S3 has a satellite internet connection.

UMG should delete your image and thumbnails on amazon side when you delete it in UMG.

about your problem, what is "Ubuntu workstation"? you only have problem on this computer?

Ubuntu is an open source linux distribution...there is nothing else wrong with the computer. We are able to view all of the images on your demo site...we can view any we upload to our website..unless we set the S3 option...once the files are transferred to Amazon S3 we cannot view the pictures any more from this computer...we can see them from any other...this makes me think the problem has something to do with the hughes net....which is a satellite internet service provider.

on your gallery page, please view the html source, and search for "xmlPath=", then you can find a url of the gallery data xml, please open it, them you can see the url of the images which are transfered to amazon s3, then try to directly access this url on your "Ubuntu" computer. does it work?
