Is there a way currently, to have a "Latest Albums" feature, that works just like the 'latest photos' module, except that instead of showing the latest photo, the thumbnail is from the latest albumn? If not, is anyone tweaking their templates to get this desired affect?

I'm sorry I think this feature is not supported, you also can't build such a listing with TopPhotos module.

Well, with the TopPhotos module, I have configured it so that, on my homepage, it shows the latest photo uploaded, regardless of photo album, and I use the [LINK] token to link directly to that photo in the album that it's in.
I do think it might be cool to be able to build a 'top albums' or 'latest albums' module so that you can use a token like [ALBUMLINK] to link to the latest album. You could pull the album's thumbnail and show the last x albums. Perhaps in a future upgrade?
Either way, I love the module and it's been working great for me. |
