hi,
i want to include a localization file (i.e :
App_LocalResources/ucGallery.ascx.he-IL.resx).

how do i do it?
i tried to include it by editing the UltraPhotoGallery.dnn.config

i add the following lines:

       
          App_LocalResources
          ucGallery.ascx.resx
       


but it didn't work....

You don't need to include it in config file, just create such a resource file and switch to corrsponding locale, then your resource file will be loaded.

O.K. i followed your instructions, i've added a file called ucGallery.ascx.he-IL.resx to my App_LocalResources, but still the "Gallery Root" is displayed instead of the value that is entered in ucGallery.ascx.he-IL.resx ? why is that? idanb11

Try to clear your cache, the language text file is cached to improve performance.

do you mean my browser cache? cause this didn't help...

i also took a look in the module settings, and the "cache time" field is set to 0 (zero).

do i need to clear the cache in another place?

please help...

What is your locale setting? is it set to he-IL?

yep, that's right my locale is he-IL:

Default.aspx?tabid=63&language=he-IL


another thing is that i localized the ultraphotogallery.swf.he-IL.xml inside Swf_Resource without any problem...
