I wanted to test the watermark feature on a UMG 5.0 album I created. I selected a file and uploaded some pictures. It worked well. But the image was too big, so I deleted it in the settings. The watermark still appeared on the images. I read the forums and realized that the watermark is applied when the images are uploaded. So, I deleted all the images and reuploaded them along with a dozen new pictures. The watermark still appeared on the original five images I uploaded, but not on the others. The only way for me to get rid of the watermark was to rename the photos, upload the renamed images and delete the originals. Is there a better way?

the watmark is hard coded to your image you uploaded, so watermarks on your existing pictures will be deleted.
