I highly recommend Ultra Media Gallery! I have a really nice family website, and this photo gallery works great with it.
My users really like the module and it is well worth the cost. The techincal support is fantastic and the response are rapid.
They also offer discounted prices on upgrades! Great Job and keep up the hard work!

Good to hear the good reviews.
I boughtt the module for a family website. I was hoping to be able allow each of about 100 family members be able to create their own albums to group and post their photos, but I don't want them to be able to edit module settings.
Have you found a way to permit subscribers to create and manage their own albums without being able to change any other module or page settings? Seems like a logical feature to have in a "gallery" module, but the DNN core gallery module won't do it and this one appears to have the same limitation.
Can you help?
Thanx. |

Thanks for your question, it seems this module doesn't support this feature, if a user has Edit module permission in UMG module, he can manage albums, but he also can visit module settings page and gallery settings page.
Maybe you can place a information telling your family members not to change other things?
Thanks. |

I purchased UMG4 when it was released and had also tested UMG3 prior to that and tested several gallery modules from other companies as well. In terms of features and appearance UMG4 has been the best gallery I have found so far. There is a very high level of customization on the admin side which is covered well in the product documentation. On the end-user side the interface is simple an intuitive which I think is a must for any gallery. The other major reason I choose this product is that the developer is very active and responsive in supporting this product. This gives me confidence that any issues that arise in the future will be addressed quickly. |

Dear Pengtsen R, I just upgraded from UMG 3 to UMG 5 because of the 3DCarousel feature that is demonstrated on your site. However, now that I've upgraded, I found out that I have to spend ANOTHER $30 to get the 3DCarousel feature - per portal!!! You NEVER state that this is necessary on the 3DCarousel page. I feel like you ripped me off and were dishonest. I am shocked by your misleading website. I was thrilled with UMG 3, but am now completely discouraged about using your software and feel hurt by your dishonesty. Please reply |

I have to admit this not clearly addressed in the newsletter, but the product description on snowcovered and bizmodules.net clearly mentioned that these presentations are in a separate purchase, you think I mislead it intentionally to get more money? no, no, no, most clients are upgraded from UMG 4 with no cost, I only see less than 5 upgrades from UMG 3 after the release, so the total income on this is around 100$, do you think I may exchange my reputation with 100$? Now you can tell me your invoice id and let me refund it. |

| I'm considering to upgrade from UMG3 to UMG5. Do I have to buy both UMG5 and Generic Presentation Pack separately? |

Hi, I've just downloaded and installed UMG 6.5.2 trial version. In Module Definition List I've got: Ultra Media Gallery UMG-FreeContentList UMG-Map UMG-PhotoCalendar UMG-PurchasedItems UMG-Rate UMG-Response UMG-Search UMG-ShoppingCart UMG-TagList But, In Control Panel Module list main Ultra Media Gallery is missing. How I suppose to start? This is a quote from the from User Manual: "To create an Ultra Media Gallery (UMG) gallery, add the Ultra Media Gallery main module to a DNN page. The New Gallery Wizard appears to help you quickly configure a gallery:" Thank you, |

it's fixed, isn't it? it seems the "Ultra Media Gallery" was not applied to any portal with your DNN website. |
