Aloha,
unless I'm looking at the wrong module it doesn't seem like this one has the abiltiy for users to comment and rate/rank pictures. Any reason why, I would assume that this is crucial for any social network/community. It seems like the video module has it so again, I might just be misunderstanding the features/functionality so let me know.

When viewing a photo in the standard UMG viewer, you will see some stars at the bottom left of the photo. Click on it, and a popup will come up for ratings and comments.

Have you downloaded the user guide and reviewed it?
