I think the thumbnail image should be selected from the images that were uploaded. Here's how I use your product:

1. I upload my pictures using Dreamweaver to a folder I created.

2. I create an album for the pictures

3. I use UPGImporter to move the pictures to the album.

Here's where it get messy:

4. I have to go to the album and download one of the pictures that I'm going to use as the thumbnail

5. Edit the album then upload the picture I just downloaded.

Yes, I agree with you, I'll add a feature which enables you to send a thumbnail of a photo to be the album thumbnail.
