I just saw a cool gallery presentation on a blog today. The gallery is sourced from this site
http://www.picturetrail.com/photoFlick/samples/pflicks.shtml

This gave me an idea. UMG is also flash based and could easily do these kind of galleries. And since you now offer custom presentations it makes it all the better.

My idea is to allow the user to choose a presentation skin for when they embed their UMG gallery in a blog etc.

What do you think?

Mark

PS: on the topic of embedding a gallery, I still have had no success...does anyone have an example of a UMG embed that is not on DNN?

Its not so much a question of which gallery, its more a question of "can it be done?" but I will make a list of interesting presentations.

ok, so you were talking about the possibility to select presentation for end users.

currently this can't be done. some architecture change is necessary to support this.

I appreciate your suggestions so much.

How about if we could provide the embed code using different presentation's config xml? could something like that work?

In the end I am looking for interesting ways that users can display their albums on their blogs while still benifiting from the added security of a flash layer (no right clicking)

What do you think?

Mark

This can't be supported at this time, UMG clear all xml files in cache folder once you add/edit a picture.
