I would like to suggest an enhancement to make UMG integrate with the Amazon S3 storage like you have done with your UVG product.  In this case you would gain the same benefits you do with UVG:
- use Amazon's bandwith and storage (very cheap prices)
- let users upload unlimited amounts of photos (since it is so cheap)
- ease of portability = you can move your site to any host without worrying about moving large amounts of user data.

Thanks!
Steve

Got my vote. It would be nice to see any module created in the DNN world that has any kind of file storage, allow the option to store onsite or offsite.

I third this. Being that my site is a photo community built on UMG parts I wish to offer the most storage as i can to the user and this is the best/heapest answer I think.

It looks like this is the only enhancement request for Pengtsen, so v6 is a long way off.  Is anyone intersted in helping sponsor this request?  I'm looking for S3 integration, and the ability for registered users to create their own gallerys that would be public.  The sort of functionality for Flickr and Picassa....

Thanks,
Steve

So, if I sponsor Steve, as a thank you, won't I have to pay for it again when you release to the public?

I'd like to see this too. Do you have enough to push this through as the next release?
