| Hi,
Have you heard about http://piclens.com/lite/
If not then give it a try. Based on RSS feeds it creates a virtual 3d gallery. Its very very amazing.
Because of the very powerful rss feature of UMG, i think it can very easily be embeded witn UMG.
Please have a try. U'll like it.
Please share your comments about it and is it possible to embed it with UMG. If its possible then i'll be amazing. |

Dear Pengtsen, first of all Thanks alot for giving us such great modules as well as support. The thing that i wana ask is, PICLENS is just a browser plugin, and it runs on rss feeds. You just provide RSS feeds and it can display pictures in 3D gallery automatically. What i wana ask is, UMG also provide rss subscription so currently with the existing rss subscription provided by UMG, is it possible to play it with PicLens as well ? You might not have to write a whole new presentation. With the existing featuers it can work, isn't it? If you don't have much time or it require some more changes then please guide me. I'll try to do it by myself and will share the result here with all of us. You can find more on http://piclens.com/lite/webmasterguide.php (Use picLens on your website).

Well, this is a browser plugin, if it is not implemented as a plugin then only a few users are able to wacth it, please be aware. If you still like it, I think you should: Change Feed.aspx in UMG so it output expected result as their rss, you should add media:thumbnail and media:content node. Then you may need to change your skin to include this line in html head: Then you should adjust the display template for TopPhotos module, so it output similar html as their example thanks. |
