I love all of the new features in the latest module, but it has become confusing to some of the portals on my site. I would suggest creating a 'wizard' to help the users. The bigest complaint that I've had so far (and it has been mentioned by many users) is 'how do I create a headline'. Please dumb it down so that the users don't have to read a manual to create the content that they need.

OK, the main problem is that I don't want over saturate my users with options.

I have a portal that has several sub portals. Getting the main idea of how DNN works is hard enough for the average person and I think that I've done a good job at that.... but having to explain the Media Gallery has been a nightmare.

I love the product that you bring to the table, and I get it... but the setup needs to be easier for the average Joe. You have to remember that the average person will not spend time looking over 200+ option to find the one that they need (I might be exaggerating with 200 options but it feels that way).

All that I ask is for a way to dumb it down for that average user.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me, I record your suggestion and will review the possiblity to add a wizard in future versions.

I'll just add my '2nd' to this idea. Its a great module, and all of the settings are ultimately needed, but for the new DNN portal user, its a bit daunting.

A user getting photos up fast and easy is key to keeping them happy with a site early on. Being able to do more once they are comfortable will keep them around.

ok, there will be a configuration wizard in the next version of Ultra Video Gallery, I'll consider to build a similar wizard in Ultra Media Gallery.

Thank you.
