Is there the possibility of users adding GIF or other photo files to the gallery?

Maybe you can develop an auto file converter also that puts the file to JPG automatically for the flash to work.

Many people have GIF files and they think it is a pain to convert before uploading.

thanks.

I'm sorry I have to give you a negative anwser about this requirement, because flash support pictures in Jpeg format only!.

Thanks.

So why not display JPGs using UMG flash slide show and display GIFs or other image/video/file formats using some sort of typical paging method.

Example: If the gallery contains all JPGs then use UMG flash slide show, otherwise display files using typical paging method with thumbnails for images and video files and icons for non-image/video format file to identify them to the user.

Then you would have an Ultra Media Gallery to handle all file types which file types could ultimately controlled per gallery (folder) by admin.

Thanks,

Maybe what you need is an alternative grid view, the adminstrator can choose to display photos in flash view or grid view.

I recieved this requirement from 1 customer, I havn't decide whether to support this feature in future versions, but I'll consider it when I upgrade it.

Thanks.
