is there anyway to change the default way the gallery order photos

it seems to put them in what i would call reverse order

i post my pcitures with IMG_1234, IMG_1235 etc etc

and it always puts them in the order of IMG_1235, IMG_1234 and i put them in reverse order

 but i would like them to default the other way i.e. the order i shot them in, as whenever i do some edits to the gallery it changes the order again

check Setings -> default sorting -> set 1st sorting field to "numeric parts in file name", set order to decending.
