My poker pics gallery has been working fine for a few months (it was working today). I navigate to it now and it gives me this error:

A critical error has occurred.

It seems your gallery subscribe to a flickr or picasa rss feed, the rss feed have a field( I guess picture title or description) which is too long, so UMG is not able to save it. so can you tell me the url of your rss feed?

I can't get to the Module Settings because of the error, but if I do select * from BizModules_UPG_FlickrPhoto I get "http://api.flickr.com/services/feeds/photos_public.gne?tags=wsop&lang=en-us&format=rss_200" is that the one?

you shoudl run: select * from BizModules_UPG_Album where FlickrSubscription <> ''

please manually change BizModules_UPG_FlickrPhoto.Author column to nvarchar(100), then you should get rid of this error.

The author column is nvarchar(50) in public version, it should be enough to almost all users, if there is 2nd problem about this problem, I'll change it to nvarchar(100) in the public version.

Sorry, are you saying that if no one else experiences this bug I will have to change it again after an upgrade?

no, UMG won't restore it to nvarchar(100). so you don't need to care about the upgrade issue. thanks.
