How do I achieve the following requirements?

1) Registered users should be able to create their own albums?
2) Registered users should be able to add or edit only their albums.
3)  All albums should be visible by everybody.

Thanks

Well, I have come close, but still have an issue

Under settings option of the gallery
1) I have checked the View permission box, so that the album view permissions can be set individually
2) I have made Registered users as Gallery managers

Now this will let all registered users to create albums.
Suppose a user "Test1" logs and selects the following options.

Under Album Rights
1) Enabled All Users to have View Roles
2) No options selected under the other roles

This lets all users view the albums.

Now if a second user logs in, then the second user has access to "Test1" albums like adding photos and even deleting albums. I guess this is because all Registered Users are gallery managers.

How do I get around this? Please help.

well, it seems UMG doesn't support all of your requirements.

if you set your gallery to run in "Personal Gallery" mode, all users will be able to add/manage their own albums, but every body can see his own albums only.

If you set gallery to run in Normal mode, and set Registered Users as Gallery managers, then everybody can see all albums, but registered users can add/manage all albums in this gallery.

thanks.

Pengtsen,
Can this be overcome by purchasing the source code and modifying it?
I find so many features of the UMG to be wonderful, but as you said, it doesn't support all my requirements.
I would love to tweak it, so that it does.
Thanks,
Steven

certainly, with the source you can do everything, I think it won't be a very difficult modification.

thanks.
