I have the photogallery running fine on several portals, but the latest is having an issue.

With this latest site when I try to add the top photos module it causes a critical error on the top of the page it is on.

I can add the module and everything looks fine. It is not until i make a change to the Top Photo Module settings and click update that the error happens. Once it does I lose the Top Photos Setting in the container menu and cannot get it back.

The error will go away if I delete the module and empty the recycle bin.

Any ideas what could cause that?

Thanks

Thanks.

If this doesn't take you there....the gallery page shows the problem.

Thanks

I can't figure it out currently, please create an admin account for me, if you can give me the password of your host account, that would be best.

You can post it in "Contact Us".

Thanks.

Any luck with this?

Just something I remembered...not sure if it will make a difference......this portal's original alias was a subdomain of my primary domain (randomdefinition.com). Once my buddy got his new domain and it was routed to my host I removed the subdomain alias.

This is finally approved to be the disk quota issue. the portals exceeds max disk quota which can be adjusted in Site Settings.

Thanks.

I am not sure I follow. I have a limit of 100mb on that portal, but there is no way he is using that much yet. Every portal I host combined only uses 143mb on my host.

I set the portal to 0 MB which I assume removes any limit and things seem to work. Am I misunderstanding what the disk space setting does?

Thanks,

John

I have done some more testing and on this site I can add a Top Photos module and use the latest uploaded option and everything will work. As soon as I select the highest rated setting the module corrupts the page.

Please feel free to delete any of the top photomodules during your testing.

Thanks,

Slouch

I reset the www.divingwithfrank.com site back to preview3.randomdefinition.com and created a new portal from scratch pointing directly to www.divingwithfrank.com and the new portal seems to be working fine with the top photos module.

It is still broken on my preview3 site.

There must be some misconfiguration in your portal, I sent you a mail requiring admin privilege. but receives no reply. please create an admin account for me quickly.

Thanks.

I'm very versy sorry about my this reply:

I thought you to be another customer with another error.

I just remember that I sent you a mail asking you to send you the Template used in Top Photos module which cause this error. I think there is a problem with your display template.

Thanks.

It seems the author of 1 or more photos is deleted from your portal, that seems to be the reason.

Thanks.

I see that it is no longer happening on my preview site. What did you do to fix it?

Can I not delete a user after they have posted a file?

I didn't do anything, since you didn't delete any user who have posted photos, you don't get this error on your preview site.

The user management feature is provided by DNN Core, it's hard to prevent admins from deleting users who have posted photos, but in the next version of Ultra Photo Gallery you will not see this error again if you take same operation.

Thanks.

This is really strange. Now it is not doing it on the preview site but is happening on the newly created portal.

he has simply stopped using the Top Photo module.

I am using UPG 2.5.4.....how can I get the latest version.
