When viewing a gallery from a Picasa Gallery, the module freezes for awhile then a popup with the error "A script in this movie is causing FLASH 9 to run slowly. Do you want to cancel the script (YES NO)"
Here's the url if you want to see the issue. http://wgrd.com/Photos/tabid/545/Default.aspx
Just click on any of the albums... BTW a lot of jibberish will appear in bottom of the module by the slider too.
Thanks for your help. |

A little more information on this... I can no longer create new albums from Picasa feeds. I get the following error... Specified rss feed is invalid, please select a valid one. This occurs when trying to create an album from a new Picasa abum or even if I try to use an rss feed from one that is already setup in a different UMG module. Wondering if maybe google has changed the feed output in some way. |

I think this has something to do with AJAXPro. I also see the error in my log /ajaxpro/something.ashx does not exist. |

| Larry, you should enable ajaxpro in Module Settings, but I think it should be irrelevant with the picasa rss issue. |

P- you're right of course. I went back and reinstalled the AJAX stuff and it didn't change the issue. I don't know if this is relevant or not, but UMG was working fine with Picassa before I installed UVG. I don't know if that could have anything to do with it but I want you to have all the information.
I would mention that the Picassa integration in your sample page, http://www.bizmodules.net/Products/UltraMediaGallery5/Samples/Sample5/tabid/122/Default.aspx
doesn't seem to have the same issue. What version are you using... I'm on UMG 4. |

Just did. I get the same problem in UMG5. Plus 1 other... The lightbox button throws a java script error. I found however that if I go into the settings and tell it to use headline mode upate then go back to classic mode the lightbox error goes away...
Basically, the Picasa problem is still there. But if picasa feeds are working on your site but not on mine it's got to be a configureation issue right?
Could you send me the picasa RSS address tot he gallery you're using a s a sample? That way I could see if I can create an album with that link? |

Yes - it was a Javascript "object expected error" I was looking at the settings and tested the headline mode, then went back to classic mode and the error went away and I could open the lightbox view. Back to the Picasa Issue. I tried creating an album with your link and it still gave me the error "Specified rss feed is invalid, please select a valid one." Just to recap... 1. Can no longer create albums in UMG5 from a Picasa rss feed. 2. RSS Albums from Picasa that previously existed and worked, now crash when selected causing a FLASH "script running is taking too much time do you want to cancel?" Seems like there's something odd in the feed to me, but the same feed you sent me is working fine on your sample site, which would indicate to me that I have a configuration issue. 3. I was getting the same errors in ver 4 as I am after upgrading to ver 5. Is there anything I can send you to help you with the diagnosis? web.config, credentials? |

| I'm not so sure... SInce your gallery is pulling fine from google, I wonder if I might have a server config issue. Is there anything in the configuration that could throw your flas script into an infinite loop? |
