Had UMG 4 working. Installed UMG 5 and cannot add the Ultra Media Gallery module to a page.  During the add receive a message:

The page isn't redirecting properly

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

http://www.sample.com/Gallery/Pictures/tabid/335/mid/809/adminCtl/Wizard/useCtl/WizardStep1/Default.aspx

Trying to browse to the page later returns same link and error.  Page has to be deleted.  Am able to add the UMG-MediaImporter module to a page.

On a page where UMG 4.0 was working before, in the settings there is an error:

Error: is currently unavailable.

It seems that you don't run your Database as dbo. I have had the same problem and solved it like this:

1. Rename the Table dbo.BizModules_UPG_Presentation to [YourUserAccount].BizModules_UPG_Presentation
2. Update the Stored Procedure BizModules_UPG_PresentationList that it fits your Database (it should not query dbo. but [YourUserAccount].)
3. Run the following commands using your database:

insert [YourUserAccount].BizModules_UPG_Presentation(Name, Description, PlayerName, GallerySettingCtl, ResourceFile, ConfigurationFile, Type, DefaultWidth, DefaultHeight) values('UMG Classic', 'The classic and most widely adopted presentation, the flash player fully support all features like album list, rate & comment, email a friend. etc.', 'UltraPhotoGallery', 'GalleryDefinition', 'UltraPhotoGallery' ,'UMGClasssic', 'BizModules.UltraPhotoGallery.Presentation.UMGClassic, BizModules.UltraPhotoGallery', 600, 450)

insert [YourUserAccount].BizModules_UPG_Presentation(Name, Description, Type, DefaultWidth, DefaultHeight, RestrictPhotoCount) values('Headline', 'Display a series of numeric buttons at lower right corner, ideal for headline news, site navigation, quick links, etc. ', 'BizModules.UltraPhotoGallery.Presentation.Headline, BizModules.UltraPhotoGallery', 320, 240, 1)

All of my tables are DBO.

Do you think the two problems are separate?

Do you use an object qualifier in your tables?  I have an the object qualifier setting in the web.config set to dnn_ so all of my tables get dnn_ added to them (i.e. dbo.BizModules_UPG_PresentationList becomes dbo.dnn_BizModules_UPG_PresentationList).

It looks like in the stored procedure picked up the correct table name in the first part of the statement, but it was hardcoded in the second part of the statement.  Adding the object qualifier on the second reference of the table fixed my problem immediately.

it's a bug in initial release, I'm sorry for that, the latest download on snowcovered is ok.

if you don't have important data, you can reinstall it.

otherwise you can run this query in Host -Sql to fix it:

EXEC sp_rename 'dbo.BizModules_UPG_Presentation', '{objectQualifier}BizModules_UPG_Presentation';
GO

DECLARE @Owner varchar(100)
SELECT @Owner = '{databaseOwner}'
IF @Owner <> 'dbo.'
BEGIN
 IF RIGHT(@Owner, 1) = '.'
  SELECT @Owner = LEFT(@Owner, LEN(@Owner) - 1)

 EXEC sp_changeobjectowner 'dbo.{objectQualifier}BizModules_UPG_Presentation', @Owner;
END
GO

Did you just update Snowcovered because I posted not more than 30 minutes after downloading from Snowcovered?

Snowcovered hasn't updated your files then because my download from an hour and a half ago still has the bug. I manually edited the stored procedure to fix the problem on my server.

you are right, this download is still bugged. it should be ok now.

for anyone who already get this problem and can't reinstall it, please run this query in Host -> Sql, please ensure "Run as script" is checked:

EXEC sp_rename 'dbo.BizModules_UPG_Presentation', '{objectQualifier}BizModules_UPG_Presentation';

insert {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}BizModules_UPG_Presentation(Name, Description, PlayerName, GallerySettingCtl, ResourceFile, ConfigurationFile, Type, DefaultWidth, DefaultHeight) values('UMG Classic', 'The classic and most widely adopted presentation, the flash player fully support all features like album list, rate & comment, email a friend. etc.', 'UltraPhotoGallery', 'GalleryDefinition', 'UltraPhotoGallery' ,'UMGClasssic', 'BizModules.UltraPhotoGallery.Presentation.UMGClassic, BizModules.UltraPhotoGallery', 600, 450)
insert {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}BizModules_UPG_Presentation(Name, Description, Type, DefaultWidth, DefaultHeight, RestrictPhotoCount) values('Headline', 'Display a series of numeric buttons at lower right corner, ideal for headline news, site navigation, quick links, etc. ', 'BizModules.UltraPhotoGallery.Presentation.Headline, BizModules.UltraPhotoGallery', 320, 240, 1)

EXEC sp_rename 'dbo.BizModules_UPG_PhotoSearch', '{objectQualifier}BizModules_UPG_PhotoSearch';

DECLARE @Owner varchar(100)
SELECT @Owner = '{databaseOwner}'
IF @Owner <> 'dbo.'
BEGIN
 IF RIGHT(@Owner, 1) = '.'
  SELECT @Owner = LEFT(@Owner, LEN(@Owner) - 1)

 EXEC sp_changeobjectowner 'dbo.{objectQualifier}BizModules_UPG_Presentation', @Owner;
END

ALTER PROCEDURE {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}BizModules_UPG_PresentationList

SELECT
