| When installing 3.0.6, the module definition inserts a new AJAXPro.dll, which is a different (newer) version than other modules using the same dll. Can module developers use different name for this dll? |

Changing file name is useless, the .NET run time use "assembly name" to load a class.
This DLL in UMG module is used to provide online shopping cart, if you don't use this feature in this module, you can simply replace it with the old one.

Thanks for this thread. I also use the Swirlhost Chatroom, and was wondering why that module fails when I re-installed the UMG. It now makes sense, but I either need a new chatroom mod or they need to use the newer Ajax.dll

Swirlhost Chatroom use an eariler version of Ajaxpro, And UMG use latest version of Ajaxpro, I guess the program interface is changed in Ajaxpro from that version to this version. so you get this error.
There are 2 solutions:
Firstly, if you don't need shopping cart feature in UMG, you can use his dll.
Secondly, you can contact the developer to use latest Ajaxpro, then there will be no conflict. I think it is more reasonable to change his module to use new version of Ajaxpro.

What version of AJAXPro.dll are you using in the UMG version 3.0.6?
We'll investigate why there is a confict between this version and the version we are using for the Swirl AJAX Chatroom module.
Also, can you send instructions on exactly how your HTTPHandler is supposed to be configured within the Web.Config file so that we can see if there is a possible work around?
Do you use the AJAXPro.2.dll or the AJAXPro.dll?

We have updated our Swirl AJAX Chatroom module to version 1.9.0. This version includes several peroformance enhancements and is compiled with the latest AJAX.NET provider (version 6.9.26.2). We have only released this version to a select few individuals, and will be making a public release shortly.
