On my article detail page (or article view page), the module.css file is loaded twice, once in the head and once in the body. This is preventing me from overriding styles in my skin stylesheet. I don't want to have to modify the module.css file as this will affect upgrades.

ok, I saw it.

it seems in DNN 4.5.x DNN doesn't register module.css automatically when read an article, so you won't get duplicated css. but in newer DNN version DNN do register it automatically, thus you will get duplicated css.

however, UNA is designed to work in DNN 4.5+. so I guess I'll have to keep it work in this way, otherwise it won't work in DNN 4.5.

maybe you can just ignore it, it just means about extra 30 byte or data.

I'm not concerned about the size of the file really. What I don't want is to have module.css be the last css file loaded. That prevents me from being able to override the styles.

Why is this module different than other modules? None of my other modules load the css file in the body and they are supposed to be 4.x compliant. Thanks for the help.

it's complicated to describe the reason.

I'll change it so it checks the dnn version number, and only render the css manually for specific DNN versions.

thanks.

I installed the updated version, twice actually, and the problem persists. module.css is still loaded in the head and body.
