When I create an article and give it a puplished date in the past, the List Display shows that the article was published on the CreatedDate instead of the PublishedDate.

I would like to be able to display the PublishedDate in the list and article view as the PublishedDate, not the CreatedDate.

beta.greentechtv.net/Home/Archives.aspx

(from listnormal.html)
<div>
<font class="KeyFields">[PUBLISHDATE] [PUBLISHTIME]</font> , [VIEWS] Views, [COMMENTS] Comments
</div>

oh, PUBLISHDATE represents to the date you approve it, if you are an manager it should be similar to created date.

currently UNA doesn't have a token to StartDate, which mean from what day it's displayed, if you need I can add it for you.

Currently the list display shows:

Tuesday, December 22, 2009 4:47 PM , 77 Views, 1 Comments

Using PUBLISHDATE in the layout code. (Which actually isn't a published date with any relation to the Publish Date in the Article Edit page.)

So to post date something (Last year or three months ago) I would need to make changes to the DataBase? Or if you could make the date entered on the Article Edit page available to display. . . Or call the Publish Date on the Article Edit page something else. . .

it seems you are right, at least in this version, in the future I'll cosider to let admin users to alter the publish date manually.

I would love to see the ability to sort and work with the publish date rather than the create date. Even a checkbox in the setup to sync the two would be great. I would like to use publish date for sorting and also for the archive list...

I just encountered this as well. My clients want to be able to give their articles/press releases a specific order. It will mostly be by PublishDate, but sometimes they may want something to appear on the top of the list that was published earlier.

Other sort options (even if it was a manual sort number) would be really helpful
