I'll try to explain the best that I can...

The following error occurs when upgradeing uvg:

Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

Here's the scenario:
Running DNN 4.5.3. Installed UVG and UMG on my site. Having problems with viewing UVG in Safari. Searched other posts on Bizmodules and found one that related....downloaded newest version UVG from snowcovered. uploaded fine. havn't had a chance to check view on safari will update thread if it fixed problem... now the issue.

Have a development server with same files and database set up.. pupose was to upgrade to DNN 4.8. (was having a tough time with it... dnn upgrade kept crashing my production site)

Got site upgraded on dev server. UMG and UVG working. Tried to upgrade UVG to newest version and got the above error. Any help would be aprreciated.

what's the module version displayed in Module Definitions? if it is the correct version then the upgrade must be successful.

what's the version number of "Ultra Media Gallery" main module? is it 5.3? if so the upgrade is successfull.

The versin of UMG main is 5.2.3. My highest UVG is on the UVG_AddVideo and it is 02.04.02. All other modules in Ref to UVG are 02.00.00.

I'm worry I intend to ask the version number of UVG_AddVideo. so your uvg is already latest. you can ignore it. it's a bug of DNN 4.8.
