Hello Pengsten, It has been long time since i posted my last message here. Although i have been busy with other tasks, i was following your modules and upgrades.
Now, i am about to request a new feature for UVG module.
In some countries it's impossible to browse some video sharing portals (e.g youtube.com) by browsing via known methods (such as typing url at address bar, or using a DNS like OpenDNS). Because they are blocking access to those websites, therefore we are unable to watch videos from UVG (if they were added via Internet URL).
Is it possible to add a feature for, admins specifying proxies for viewing videos inside UVG, i have seen this at some websites. But i don't know codebehind.
Can you share your thoughts about this feature?
Thanks.

Actually some video websites are blocked in my country too, so I use Firefox and Tor to visit these websites, I recommend Tor if you have this problem too. however, it seems to be impossible to implement this kind of proxy in UVG, when you add video from youtube, you use embed code, right? the embed code is directly linked to youtube and UVG have no control about it. |
