Hello. I just tried to upgrade my current version of UVG from 1.5 to version 2.
What I did was this: I installed the New UVG Module version over the previous one.
Now my videos won't play and when I try to see the video configuration module, the module would not show and only appears a dialog box requesting my serial number.
I supplied the S/N, and after clicking the only available button: "Manual Activation",
it shows a red message telling me that I need to send both the S/N and Activation Code to
BizModules to receive a License File. I already did that, but I haven't received an
answer. Any idea of what may be happening here?

Did you login as host? you should be able to activate it by your self.

if you still get this problem, you can contact rongers@hotmail.com for quick reply.

thank you.

Hi, Pengtsen. Look, I think that what is happening has something to do with an error I get as a result of installing the UVG new version. What I am doing is trying to install UVG on my PowerDnn server. Apparently, the installation goes well enough until this error appears:

ExceptionSystem.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path 'C:\Inetpub\vhosts\mydomain.com\httpdocs\bin\Affirma.ThreeSharp.dll' is denied. at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath) at System.IO.File.SetAttributes(String path, FileAttributes fileAttributes) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.ResourceInstaller.PaDnnInstallerBase.CreateFile(String FullFileName, Byte[] Buffer) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.ResourceInstaller.PaDnnInstallerBase.CreateBinFile(PaFile File) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.ResourceInstaller.PaDnnInstallerBase.CreateFiles(PaFolder Folder) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.ResourceInstaller.PaDnnInstallerBase.Install(PaFolderCollection folders) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.ResourceInstaller.PaInstaller.Install()

Have you seen this error before?

I could not believe it, but I could finally install (apparently) the UVG. I had to go and change some permissions of folder Bin and DesktopModules, and that did it. But now I have another problem. When I try to add the UVG_Configurations module to one of my pages (I am logged in as a host) the following error shows:

A critical error has occurred.
Access to the path 'C:\Inetpub\vhosts\mydomain.com\httpdocs\5f2f7b87a6364832ad721ad806134bb9' is denied.

Any ideas?

Hello. Working a while with UVG modules, now I can tell you that this error shows up no only when I try to add UVG_Configurations to my page, but also when I try to Synchronize  the videos or when clicking on any page number at the bottom of the UVG_MyVideos module.

A critical error has occurred.
Access to the path 'C:\Inetpub\vhosts\mydomain.com\httpdocs\2a645d9a805249d39c5e2489c2260337' is denied.

It looks that something is missing.(?)
I would appreciate someone giving some light over this problem.
Thx.

it's a permission issue, did you grant Network Service Read and write permission on 'C:\Inetpub\vhosts\mydomain.com\httpdocs?
