Hi Pengtsen,
The related videos/Same author module continues to act erratically on my site and I'm wondering what types of things would affect its performance.

Does the users bandwidth cause the related videos or same author videos to take some time to load depending on the number of videos associated with either the category, tag, or author? I assumed the module is using Ajax technologies?
On my site, the related videos tab can stay stuck on loading throughout the entire currently playing video. I can click over to the same author tab and its performance is better even though the number of videos associated with same author is triple the amount associated with the related videos.
Sometimes the related video tab loads the related videos pretty quickly.
I know my server is now configured correctly for this module.
What can I do or is this something you're already aware of and plan to make improvements?
Can the module be coded to actually allow the same author videos to be pre-loaded before the user clicks over to that tab? This would get rid of the annoying LOADING text and make the transition much smoother and in keeping with most peoples other web experiences on common video sites.
From an end user perspective, the LOADING text looks and feels unprofessional, especially since the rest of the module sets such a high standard of professionalism.

yes, this module use ajax, it may take a little longer if you have hundreds of related videos.
your server have slow response to my brower, it takes about 30 seconds to link this url, and to load related videos takes me about 4 seconds, for both "Related" and "Same Author", the response time seems to be reasonable.
so can you try other computers to see if you get same problem?
if you want to show videos by "Same Author" in default, change
ShowRelatedVideos(0);
to
ShowRelatedVideos(1);
in RelatedVideos.ascx.
