I have encountered a small issue on using a URL to add a video. A user tried to add a .html URL because it had a WM Player on it and he though it would work...this video crashed browsers when it was viewed.
Is there some kind of filter that can be implemented to that a .html or other page extentions URL will not be accepted?

I can add this limitation in UVG, but there may be some problems, you know, when add internet video you should specify a url of flv file, right? the problem is these videos doesn't always have .flv extension, some of them have no extension, some of them are served by rtmp server, so I didn't do any checking when add internet videos. however, adding a html url as video source should't crash browser, can you give me the url and let me try it? |
