So I'm having some major issues after upgrading to 2.0. After running the config wizard everything worked fine, however, when I went to upload files on to my site (typically via document exchange professional I was getting the following error:
Server Error in '/' Application.
Data length (23198) is shorter than Content-Length (23238) and client is still connected.
I read through these forums and found that others were having the problem and that one user resolved the issue by removing add name="UploadHttpModule" type="Brettle.Web.NeatUpload.UploadHttpModule, Brettle.Web.NeatUpload"
from my web.config and that seemed to resolve the problem.
However, I also find that when I go to upload a large file (120 mb .avi) I get a "Connection was reset" timeout error. My web.config has nearly unlimited time in the timeout setting so that is not the problem and my host (Powerdnn) has no limit on the virtual memory setting so that is not it either. Please help resolve this issue, hopefully it is something basic that I am missing.

basically, I don't suggest you to upload 120MB file when neatupload is not working, you should use UVG Converter. generally, the "connection was reset" error is fired from server side, can you contact powerdnn support to see if they can fix this problem, I know they are experienced guys. thanks. |

1. I did contact PowerDNN and they said that there were no limitations on their side.
2. Are you suggesting that no one ever upload files via the module of a large size unless they are using UVG converter?
3. Can you answer my first question in regards to why I had to delete the neatupload reference in web.config in order for the site to work?
Thanks for your help. Tom |

1, what's your domain, I'll check with powerdnn 2, if neatupload is working, you can upload 100+mb files, otherwise I suggest you to use UVG Converter because it is faster, however, it should work if you upload it in UVG but very slow. 3, I'm not sure why neatupload fire that error, if possible, you can grant me ftp access to your website so I can check it. thank you. |

I got reply from PowerDNN: ============================== With the way our servers are set up, there is no limitation on how big of files they can upload, however, depending on their network connection, it is possible for them to timeout. Whenever people are dealing with large files, we always recommend using FTP instead of an HTTP upload method because FTP can move large files much faster and much more efficiently. ============================== You know, this problem is not related to UVG, if you try to upload your video in DNN File Manager I'm absolutely sure you will get same problem, I guess it may be a problem of your connection, your ISP, or your proxy server. Now I think maybe you should adopt PowerDNN's suggestion, to upload large video by FTP and Syncrhonize them in UVG_MyVideos module, another way is to upload your videos by UVG Converter, I think this is a better solution, if your videos is 100MB, the converted video may be 10MB only, so you only need to upload 10mb data instead of 100MB. thanks. |

| Do you allow you to contact powerdnn to get a mirror of your website so I can debug the neatupload issue? |
