Hi, I just upgraded to the latest version of UGV. When I click on the video thumb I get a black video screen.

I had the same problem. I simply created an ALL VIDEOs page and copied the new links to the videos, because YES there are new links. Fairly simple. Caz

James' problem is related to a bad video url, what about yours? is it a local video or internet video? if internet video what's the url?

Not Internet Video. Local. All my Video URLS changed from vague names to "The-Name-Of-My-Video.aspx" Esay change.

Hello. I habe the same problem with UVG 2.03. I allready uninstalled everything and installed it new. I removed everything even the Videofolders on the Webserver. Everything works, exept watching the added Videos. I dont where the error is, I think there is something going wrong with the Video URL. I only get a blank screen. The sample works ok...... Would be great to see this fixed soon! Peter

I gave you a reply by email. ASPNET(or Network_Service in WIN2003) don't have read permission on your video folder so they can't be played.

Hi, thnaks for the diagnostik, yes you are right, there ist a problem with the rights. I have corrected this, now the both Videos play ok. But as soon as I upload a new Video, the new Video has a wrong right set. If i remember correct, this Problem was not in Version 2.02. Can it be, that the converting Process does something wrong? I will make a screenshot for you, from the correct right, and the wrong right and send it to you via mail. Peter
