Hi, i installed the latest uvg on my website and it's working just fine. When i want to embed a video in my blog i use the embed code from uvg. However the fckeditor removes the object tag, is there a workarround for this? The code i want to embed is for example: <object allowFullScreen='True' width='500' height='450'><param name='movie' value='http://schaaps.dyndns.org/DesktopModules/UltraVideoGallery/UltraVideoGallery.swf' /><param name='allowFullScreen' value='true' /><param name='flashvars' value='vId=7&portalId=0&baseUrl=http://schaaps.dyndns.org/DesktopModules/UltraVideoGallery/' /><embed src='http://schaaps.dyndns.org/DesktopModules/UltraVideoGallery/UltraVideoGallery.swf' type='application/x-shockwave-flash' allowFullScreen='True' width='500' height='450' flashvars='vId=7&portalId=0&baseUrl=http://schaaps.dyndns.org/DesktopModules/UltraVideoGallery/'></embed></object> but the editor strips it down to: <embed src="http://schaaps.dyndns.org/DesktopModules/UltraVideoGallery/UltraVideoGallery.swf" width="500" height="450" scale="NoScale" loop="loop" menu="menu" wmode="Window" quality="1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"></embed>

I don't know, but did you try to paste it in Raw Text mode?

Yeah using raw mode does the trick but my wife likes using the fckeditor so i hoped there was something to change it's behavior. But it's more a dnn issue then a uvg issue so i'll see if the have a solution at the dnn site.

yes, you are right. I'm not satisfied with FCKEditor too, I found it automatically add a "Portal/0" prefix when I use IMG tag to show a picture on bizmodules.net, quite annoying.

I found a workarround that let you have the object tag in the fckeditor, in the wysiwyg mode of the editor you dont see anything but it will still work. Edit fckconfig.js in: dotnetnuke\Providers\HtmlEditorProviders\Fck\FCKeditor\ Add the following line: FCKConfig.ProtectedSource.Add( /<object[\s\|\S]+?<\/object>/gi ) ;
