Its definitely, this seciton in the web config file that is causing the error.

This is a critical issue. I have switched over to UVG 2.0 and have been getting the same exact issue as Hartsell. I also removed add name="UploadHttpModule" type="Brettle.Web.NeatUpload.UploadHttpModule, Brettle.Web.NeatUpload" from the web.config and I found that it worked. However, with large files it will not allow me to upload and times out. The timeout is set for almost an unlimited amount in the web.config....PLEASE HELP!

I am having similar difficulties. My quick-fix was to replace the web.config file UVG created from backup. Now...video files don't seem to play at all (even though they exist w/transitions in the video list), and uploading for conversion to .flv does not work.

Did anyone here ever find a solution?

Hi,
I am getting this error too - I don't upload large files to my site - can I just remove the
add name="UploadHttpModule" type="Brettle.Web.NeatUpload.UploadHttpModule, Brettle.Web.NeatUpload" />

line from my web.config? Is there anything else I should be aware of?

I received the same issue as user: Hartsell

I removed the following line from the web.config file (note: had to remove angle brackets from the line of code below):

add name="UploadHttpModule"
type="Brettle.Web.NeatUpload.UploadHttpModule, Brettle.Web.NeatUpload"


...and that solves the error i was getting. I'm not sure what negative impact that has, however.

(a) Is it required?
(b) Why is it in there?

I am using DNN version 04.08.02.

This line is used to present the upload progross bar in UVG_AddVideo module.

However, it seems you should get a similar error even if you remove it from web.config.

Is there anyway for you to simply start using Rad Telerik control instead to get rid of these errors?  Also, using telerik will eliminate (to some degree) your limitations on uploading which is a huge problem.

I was referring to the telerik upload module ti use in place of neatupload (which seems to be causing some problems).

I'll test it when I have time, however, I belive some clients will still get same trouble with it even I use it to replace neatupload.
