I recently upgraded my UVG to ver 1.5. I just noticed that my video upload module is no longer functioning. There's a statement which says

"You must install binary pack for Ultra Video Gallery before usage.

For further information please refer to the User
Guide".

How should I resolve this problem. Is there a new binary pack for 1.5?

I had same problem, adding firstrun video file to DesktopModules/UltraVideoGallery/ fixed problem.

However i don't want users to see this video file when they found hidden Video Player page.

Hi Pensteng and Ismet.

Pensteng, Everything was working before the upgrade. I did have the binary pack installed. Do you think it got erased in the install? Should I put the binary pack back in again or is there a certain file?

Ismet. Your advice was exactly correct. After I put the firstrun flv back into that folder my upload module started working. Thanks!

When add new videos the AddVideo module now check FirstRun.wmv, you can create a blank file if you don't need a default video.

This will be changed back in next release.

thanks.

FirstRun.wmv is in the directory.

The ONLY files not working are the progressively-streamed FLV from our streaming provider (sends in RTMP protocol)

We can upload FLV files directly with no issues.

Yes, binaries are installed. Everything was working fine before upgrading.

Thanks

Brian, you mean your FLV stored on your RTMP server no longer work after upgrade?

Can you try to download module PA from snowcovered and install it again? you don't need to uninstall the current version.
