My video title is: Gopher Broke
URL to video is
http://localhost/dotnetnuke_2/UVGPlayer/tabid/99/VideoId/1/Default.aspx

It would be a super optionn to include title at urls

e.g

http://localhost/dotnetnuke_2/UVGPlayer/tabid/99/Gopher-Broke.aspx

or even better

http://localhost/dotnetnuke_2/vid/1/Gopher-Broke.aspx
So we could have wonderful urls:)

Any ideas on this?

I was using default core blog module to list my articles, but google was not indexed my site well,

after applying News Articles module from Ventrian, i got indexed perfectly and ranked well with my tutorials, because my keywords were listed at urls.

This is a killing feature for competition. I'm sure more people buy your module if you provide Seo friendly urls;

I hope you understand me :)

Regards.

ahha, this is a good idea. I recorded your suggestion and I think this feature will likely be supported in next version.

thank you.

I would really like this feature too. I just purchased a module that rewrites my url's into search engine friendly ones but it can't deal with the VideoID rewriting (only page).

So I look forward to this because the fact that I post movie trailers and the url http://www.e4lmovietrailers.com/Default.aspx?tabid=210&VideoId=80

Would look like http://www.e4lmovietrailers.com/now-on-dvd/movie-trailer-now-playing.aspx?VideoId=The-Kingdom

I'm real anxious for this :)

well, I think SEO is already supported in UVG 2, if your video title is "My test video", then the url to play it should be :

http://www.yourdomain.com/tabid/51/VideoId/1/My-Test-Video.aspx

ahh... so it is! I just didn't realize it until I focused on it. The other module I spoke of makes me turn off friendly urls so now I have to weigh if I want the movie title seo'd or the page name... LOL what a choice I have to make!

Thanks

UVG also add video title to meta title, add tags to meta keywords, add video description to meta description.
