Currently UVG supports 2 types of videos: From local disk and internet. It would be great to add a third option: embedded It would support html so we could put the embedd code of youtube or other players directly |

Thanks for your suggestions, but the embed video is played by other players like YouTube player, it will have different user interface. I intend not to support this feature, somebody posted a website to retrieve the source of youtube video in this forum. Thanks. |

I like this idea. This will make it possible to legitimately post youtube (and all others) videos but still reside on your website. It will be really a great addition. Right now if you post youtube videos that are not yours you may be violating copyrights. Pengsten, is this technically possible? If the video is embeded the other player will show....but everything else stays the same? |

| I'll consider it, to allow you embed a video directly by the embed code provided by other video websites. |

| Is there anyway to restrict a role to only allow users to Embed videos and not add them from the internet? |

I'm sorry, there isn't such an option. however, if you don't need the "from internet" feature, maybe you can consider to hide in the ascx source. |
