Hi, I created a new child portal with Image and Video gallery using the template. When the administrator of the portal login and try to add video, he has no rights to Add the Video. Then I realised that none of the roles have the rights to upload the video by default. When the Configuration is updated (but nothing is changed/added in the configuration) then the Administrator has the rights to Add the Video. My problem is, we have a auto Portal Signup module using which the user themselves can create a child portal without any Administrator/host intervension. In that case, the person who created the child portal becomes the Administrator and when he cannot add the video until he update the configuration, which he will not know and come back to us on complaining about the problem. Is there any way to overcome this problem and when the administrator go in, he can automatically add videos without updating the configuration? |

The fix will be included in UVG 1.3 which will be released around 10 days. Thanks. |

Thanks for considering this. Waiting for your next release. I have a suggestion for both UVG and UMG: Progress bar for displaying the upload status of video/image files will be much appreciated. As uploading video/images takes too much of time (30 MB file takes more than 7 mins) and the page seems like hanging and finally displays the message successfully uploaded. Atleast with progress bar or anyother indication will be helpful for the user to know that something is happening at the backend. |

I appreciate your suggestions, but I think this feature can be hardly supported recently, both products use core file upload control, this ensures uploaded file are managed by DNN core, but this control don't support this feature. Thank you any way. |
