I ran the Amazon S3 configuration wizard and it created a bucket for me. I can confirm the bucket was created and the wizard created a scheduler item for me, but it never works. It only says "invalid parameters". The scheduler item that was created has an empty string for Name, and the friendly name of the created schedule is blank as well? What is wrong? |

That is not an option. I only have 1 portal installed, but it happens to be portal 1. Portal 0 was deleted about 6 or 7 years ago. Can I enable something manually? Thanks, Brad |

Based on your answer, I was able to search better on the forum. So, I tried the following. update [HostSettings] set SettingName='AWS_Bucket0' where SettingName='AWS_Bucket1' However, I am still getting Invalid Parameter. |

UPDATE I just cleared my cache, restarted the website. And now the scheduler ran and didn't get "Invalid Parameter". Also, I have a AWSOperationLog.txt now. (It never even got that far before) But, the scheduler failed with this log: Prepare to upload video '[MyVideoName] from 10/7/08'(ID=2) System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (405) Method Not Allowed. at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetResponse() at Affirma.ThreeSharp.Query.ThreeSharpQuery.Invoke[T](Request request) at Affirma.ThreeSharp.Query.ThreeSharpQuery.BucketList(BucketListRequest request) at BizModules.UltraVideoGallery.Scheduling.AWSOperationScheduler.UploadFile(String bucket, String basePath, String filename, String portalHome, String& key) |

Sorry for the delays, yes I'm on a vacation, for urgent cases please use emails. 1, do you use dot (.) in bucket name?if so please choose another bucket name without dots. 2, if you still have trouble with it, can you give me your s3 account so I can try it by my self? |

1. No, I do not have a dot in the bucket name. 2. I don't think I can give out my company's S3 account keys. But I did just tried creating a bucket with a shorter name, and it seems to have gotten further. The schedule completed, but only sent a single jpg to Amazon (no video). I'm yet not sure if that's because I set the batch Quantity to 1. I just increased that to 2 and will wait some time before attempting to run the scheduler again. |

Well, it seemed to work great for the first 5 or 6 videos, and now all I get are errors. Affirma.ThreeSharp.ThreeSharpException: The operation has timed out ---> System.Net.WebException: The operation has timed out at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetResponse() at Affirma.ThreeSharp.Query.ThreeSharpQuery.Invoke[T](Request request) --- End of inner exception stack trace --- at Affirma.ThreeSharp.Query.ThreeSharpQuery.Invoke[T](Request request) at Affirma.ThreeSharp.Query.ThreeSharpQuery.BucketList(BucketListRequest request) at BizModules.UltraVideoGallery.Scheduling.AWSOperationScheduler.UploadFile(String bucket, String basePath, String filename, String portalHome, String& key) and Exception: System.Threading.ThreadAbortException: Thread was being aborted. at BizModules.UltraVideoGallery.Scheduling.AWSOperationScheduler.UploadFile(String bucket, String basePath, String filename, String portalHome, String& key) at BizModules.UltraVideoGallery.Scheduling.AWSOperationScheduler.UploadVideo(PortalInfo portal, VideoInfo video) |

if you set batch quantity to 1, UVG transfer 1 video per time. does it work now? UVG is able to tranfer really files, even hundreds of MBs, I noticed "Thread was being aborted" in your error stack, if you still have trouble with it, you may need to take a look at your IIS recycle settings. |
