I'm trying to figure out exactly what the Host Table entry should look like for controling the secuity for an integration to active social. I want the security to be for Friends Only.. I currently have the SettingName as 0_UVGJournalSecurity and the SettingValue as 3 (not Friends Only). Is this correct? Is there anything else I need to do?

yes, it should be correct, but you need to restart your website.

How do you do this? SettingName as 0_UVGJournalSecurity and the SettingValue as 3 (not Friends Only). Where do you go to do this? Please advise. Thank you!

Pengsten, Thanks so much for adding the journal security option! For everyone's reference, the journal security values can be found at http://www.activemodules.com/activesocial/kb/journal-api-addprofileitem/ The simplest way to add the necessary setting is via the Host SQL module, using a query like: insert into {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}hostsettings VALUES ('0_UVGJournalSecurity',1,0,-1,GETDATE(),-1,GETDATE()) The above query will add the setting for portal 0, with Everyone permissions. Hope that helps :-)
