Hello, I'm thinking about moving my videos to youtube instead of hosting my own on Amazon S3. A few questions: 1) Does the latest way of injecting a youtube video by using the "embed code" satisfy the youtube terms of use? 2) Is there anyway to specify autoplay for youtube videos in UVG? Right now, the user is required to click the play button even though all my other videos (hosted at Amazon S3) autoplay in UVG. 3) I have to edit the embed code to resize the video to the frame I'm using in UVG. I don't have to do that with Amazon S3 hosted videos. Is there anyway to make that happen automatically with youtube videos? 4) How can I convert existing UVG videos to point to Youtube versions of the video while retaining the UVG view counts, etc? 1, sure, why not? the embed code is offered by Youtube. 2, not possible in UVG, but the embed code offered by youtube DOES have a autoplay option. when you grab it on youtube you should be able to assign it. 3, a possible solution is to create a trigger in the database, so when you add it a youtube video, it automatically resize it. 4, will, UVG doesn't allow you to change video types, so you may need to manually do it in your database.

Thanks Pengtsen! 3) Is that something you would have to add in a future version of UVG, or something I should try to create myself? 4) How would I manually change this in the database?

3, you should manage to do it by your self or hide a developer to do this. 4, empty the VideoPath/H265videopath column, then manually enter the embed code into "EmbedCode" column.

Regarding "4": A) will this automically grab the thumbnail image associated with the youtube video and replace the existing thumbnail (currently hosted on AmazonS3)? B) This would be a good enhancement request. You should be able to switch to an embed code (or vice versa) just by editing the video within the normal UVG GUI. Possible?
