I'm not sure what happened...but UVG started showing users on two of my previously licensed installs an unlicensed module message.

I checked and they are indeed showing unlicensed. Re-entering one of my four licenses says they are invalid.

What happened?

Also - this this the only way for support? (just checking)

I have a multi license I activated the license on the domain and loaded nearly 30 videos all was working fine. I then I moved servers. Now when we try to add videos it is saying that the license is only good for 3 videos. I do not see anywhere that it will allow me to enter the serial number so I can get this working. Please tell me how to fix this ASAP.

I have sent you an email with the same information plus my serial number and the domain I am speaking about. My customer wants to load videos NOW - can you please tell me how to correct this situation.

Pengtsen, we have a site down as well becasue of a license issue. Everything was working fine until we updated to V3.2. I sent you an email this morning.

There really needs to be a better way of doing this that still offers you the protection you desire. This is the second time this has happened to us and it really creates problems. The site has always been at the same domain, the first time we changed the IP but nothing changed this time except the update.

There is really no reason to tie the license to the machine or IP address, the FQDN should be enough to see that it is only used on a single site. This also ties our hands for disater recovery, if we have a major failure and need to fire up a new box at a different IP I can be up in running in 20 minutes except for my license of UVG.

Please consider looking at another way, we can't afford to have this kind of down time.

Jack, I'm not sure what is wrong, but please note, once you activate UVG 3 on your website, you don't need to activate it again no matter how many (minor, e.g. 3.x) upgrades you have installed.

and it's likely you don't need to activate it again even you upgrade to UVG 4 or 5.

something must be wrong in your case, but this is because we require you to activate it once again.

if you still have trouble with it, send me your serial and domain by email.
