I had everything setup and working as described in the help file for both the Video Gallery Page (categories, listing, popular, etc.) as well as a separate video player page.

Now, for some reason, my Gallery page will not load for non-admin users. It is fine when I log in as host or site admin (and I am in edit mode) - completely fine - page displays, all videos are shown, and selecting one brings up the player page and i can watch the videos.

But even as host or admin, if I switch from "Edit Mode" to "View Mode" the page refuses to load. I get a long browser progress bar wait that eventually results in a generic "cannot display page" error.

I have triple checked permissions and everything else I can think of.

Please help! Any/all ideas will be appreciated.

I think I figured this one out (because I got my Video Gallery page back up).

I viewed my DNN Event Viewer from the Admin Account and noiced I was getting a Page Load Exception with details indicating "Length cannot be less than zero" error.

I checked all of the setting in each of the UVG modules to see if a setting was left blank that might cause this (but found nothing).

I then went to Manage Videos and checked the settings for each and every video in the library. I found one video that did not have a check next to any category - I checked the appropriate categories - and magically, my video gallery page began working again.

If this is, in fact, why the page is fixed, I suggest adding some information in the settings screen about having to have at least one category checked and something to this effect in the help file as well.

well, actually you are not required to assign a video to at least a category. can you replicate this error? try to add a new video and let the categories option blank, to see if it produce same error.

can you also show me the complete message of the exception?

I am getting a similar error. The UVG module on the site has been working fine until the DNN 5.2.3 upgrade.

please install UVG once again, you don't need to uninstall it before installation.
