Hi,

I've getting this error :

Parser Error Message: An error occurred creating the configuration section handler for system.web/neatUpload: Item has already been added. Key in dictionary: 'FilesystemUploadStorageProvider'  Key being added: 'FilesystemUploadStorageProvider'

Source Error:

Line 201:
Line 202:
Line 203:
Line 204:
Line 205:

after I created a child portal and added a virtual directory for it.

The error only happen when i try to access this child portal.
Note that the parent is still working just fine.

I tried to comment  sections in the web.config, and it works fine.
So I guess the problem really lies in this neatupload ?

Any solution for this?

Latest UVG, DNN 4.8.4

Thanks in advance..

Hi,

I'm the NeatUpload author. The error you describe would occur if there are elements with the same name attribute in the sections of two different Web.config files.  You probably don't need the section at all in the Web.config in the child directory.

Hi Dean, Pengsthen

Thanks for your help.

We managed to get it done by modifying the webconfig :

[PROVIDERS][BR][CLEAR /][BR][ADD name="FilesystemUploadStorageProvider" type="Brettle.Web.NeatUpload.FilesystemUploadStorageProvider, Brettle.Web.NeatUpload" /][BR][/PROVIDERS]
