Hi,
I can embed videos from you tube fine by using the embed code , and even though i do not enter anything in the screenshot url box in the add video form of uvgm it shows a screenshot in the videolist.
But when i add the embed code from google video for a video on google video into the embed code, the video will display fine when clicked on , but in the list of videos it says 'no screenshot available'
It seems to get the screenshot automatically with the embed code from youtube, but not for google video, and i need to use google video so that i can upload larger than 100 mb
Please help ?? Any help appreciated. Thanks. |

| By the way, this problem happens for any video hosted on google for which i have used the embed code. Also, when you add a video to google video it does not ask you for a screenshot url ? (but i would have thought that the first frme of the video would be used as a default) |

| yes, UVG do automatically get a screenshot when add video from youtube, but not from google video, you should find it by your self and provide this url to UVG. |

I cannot see it. As far as i have checked and am aware, there is no option, whether you use the google site or the google desktop uploader.
Could you please let me know where i could find it ?

here is the embed code i have used for one of them, but it seems to be happening with all of the videos i have added from google:
you can find the url for the video inside the embed code.

| where did you grab this embed code? if you visit video.google.com you can find on the homepage each video have a screenshot. |

yes, that is obvious. Every video on google has a screenshot, but why is it not appearing on dnn uvg. it is not automatically appearing with the embed code like it does with youtube, and if i add it as an internet url, then what url shall i add, where is the option on google to have the screenshot. I obviously got the code from google.
Have you used the uvg module to add a video from google, do you have experience with this ? |

the ability to automatically grag screenshor url from youtube videos in adn advanced feature in UVG, we hard coded the logic to get a youtube video screenshot, however, we don't know the logic to get a google video screeenshot url so you have to provide it by your self.

recently i believed youtube changed screenshot urls, Pengsten can you confirm and publish a fixed version if necessary? I got 404 for images if i do not specify them manually while adding videos from youtube.
