Similar to the way you can currently filter the Video Listing module using a url parameter for categoryid would it be possible to create a more flexible way to filter by Tag?

I would like to allow users to be able to upload a video, select a category(which would be a set list e.g. Testimonial, review etc) but then also set a tag which of course is dynamic as the user can enter whatever they like (in this case it would be the name of a listed item that they are reviewing)

I could then navigate from my listing page to a details page, the url would include a parameter for the listed item e.g. its name.

On the details page along with the details of the item I would have several UVG video listing modules 1 for reviews, 1 for testimonials etc.
These would need to filter on the Tags for the tag value from the new URL parameter.

Is this feasible please?

are you talking about, to place multiple UVG_VideoList module on single page, each instance display videos in specific category and contains the passed tag?

yes exactly, I want to use the Tags as a more dynamic method of filtering the videos.
Otherwise I would have to create a new category type for every individual listing that someone adds, this would be unworkable.

Do you think you could add this functionality?

It seems very similar to the ability to display a users' videos by use of the userid URL parameter.

currently UVG allows you to show videos with specified tag, but this applys to all categories. why you need to separate them?

Yes that works but the Tag List passes the tagid, what I need is the ability to use a url parameter that will be passed in to a details page that will be generated outside of UVG.
I need to be able to match the value of the tag and filter a video list on that.

Do you think this is feasible to create?

not only you can pass "TagId" to UVG_VideoList, you can manually pass "Tag" parameter too, if this tag exist UVG is able to display all videos with this tag.

That works fantastically well, thank you.

I did not see that in the help file, are there any other little un-documented gems?

By the way all the images/screenshots are missing from my latest help file, is there a fixed version?

currently I can't remember, the only exception is CfgEmbed.xml, search it in this forum to know more.

the user guide is fine, I just checked, did you follow the instruction on the download page to unblock it?
