Pengsten.. I would like to be able to link a specific video to a specific album (or even the first photo in an albumn) in UMG. I think I  understand how link a specific AUTHOR to an  album AUTHOR.. but how about a specific video to an album?

The issue here is that all the videos and all the albums will be uploaded by the same user.

yes we could do it from there for now..

We have developed a little classified system using Indoo grid to tie in listing information with currently selected video.  It would be nice to link from this as well. We could pick up on the Picture's unique ID somehow in the Database.

you can use html in video description, so you can manually add your link in a video to an album.

passing "AlbumId=x" parameter in querystring on a UMG page will open this album by default.

for anyone checking this that is unfamiliar.. just cut and paste the url to your UMG gallery page and add this at the end:

?&albumid=X get the album id "X "from the manage albums edit interface.
